After a great day exploring the mountains, return to your luxury 5 star chalet, pour yourselves a drink and relax in the hot tub, Hammam or stunning bubble sauna designed to make the most of the fabulous view of Mont Blanc. We think you’d struggle to find a more perfect backdrop for your Alpine holiday.

As well as luxury, accommodation designed to make the most of an amazing setting there’s the garden, and a huge furnished terrace with designer lighting, barbecue, a fire pit and a sit-around plancha grill, perfect for fun al fresco meals with friends. For the summer, the owners have also added a petanque piste, as well as an outdoor shower beneath the wisteria.

Chalet Blanc sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 children in two luxurious double bedrooms and two suites. Steps and a ramp lead to the main door, which opens onto the living area with a cosy central fireplace.

The well-equipped kitchen is on one side, and a spacious dining area is on the other. There’s room for everyone on the large sofa, whether you are settling down to watch a film on the surround sound TV, chatting about your day or relaxing with a drink. Gamers will appreciate the PS Now subscription, with access to 700 games, and there are also Netflix, Prime and Disney+ subscriptions. You’ll have access to a digital film library and great music, thanks to the Sonos sound system in every room.

The living area opens onto the furnished terrace, perfect for an apero…. After a game of petanque, choose how you wish to prepare dinner: barbecue, fire pit, electric plancha or the Vulx gas plancha. Well-designed lighting illuminates the outdoor seating area, which leads on to the hot tub and outdoor shower. There’s also a bubble sauna with panoramic views over the mountains.

A huge water tank has been installed to gather mountain rainwater, making the chalet completely self-sufficient for water. There is parking for two cars at Chalet Monique, and a rapid electric car charger. The nearby ski room has a heated boot warmer.

Those choosing to work remotely will find three workspaces each with a PC connected to ultrafast broadband.

For a small village, Cordon packs a big punch for winter sports. You can drive to the village’s family-friendly slopes in five minutes, or take the shuttle bus, which stops just below the chalet.

There’s plenty more skiing a little further afield – a 10-minute drive will take you to the Évasion Mont-Blanc area of Combloux, Megève, and Saint-Gervais. Beyond that, 30 minutes away, there’s the Espace Diamant, linking Praz-sur-Arly, Bellecombe, Crest-Volant, Flumet, and Saisies, which hosted the winter Olympics in 1992. Other winter sports just minutes away from Chalet Blanc include dog-sledding and snow-shoe walking.

In the summer, there is just as much to do – the mountains are a magnet for walkers, cyclists and golfers. Mountain golf courses offer something a little bit special – fabulous views, clean crisp air and some challenging terrain. There are several golf courses to choose from within an easy drive of Chalet Monique, including the Mont-d’Arbois course at Megève, and the famous Chamonix course. There are 80km of walking trails around Cordon itself, taking in waterfalls, farms and lush green pastures.

Additional Single bed (for children) located on the landing with two sliding barn doors for privacy, TV and XBOX games console.

Ground Floor – King size bed (180 x 200), Sonos music system, en-suite bathroom equipped with a walk-in waterfall shower and a double granite basin.

Bedroom 4
Garden Floor – Located next to the cinema, this soundproofed suite is ideal for night owls. Two single beds can be grouped together to accommodate a couple. The stone walls and north-facing aspect make this the coolest suite in summer. This contemporary suite is equipped an en-suite bathroom with a bath.
