Can Eco is located on the top of the hill in Can Tomas, perfect for watching the glorious sunsets.
Can Eco is one of the first houses in Ibiza that is CO2 positive. Its central location in the countryside between San Rafael and San Antonio makes it perfect for exploring the whole island. Situated on top of a hill, fully fenced, it guarantees 100% privacy during your entire stay.

Western beaches for sunsets are 10-15 minutes away, as are the true Ibicencan villages of Santa Gertrudis and Santa Agnes, both lovely for tapas and dinners, and the local beaches of Cala Gracio and Cala Salada are family friendly and picturesque with fine sand.

Outside, a large 60m2 swimming pool, surrounded by luxurious sun loungers, offers much-needed refreshment during the long, hot summer days, while the covered outdoor dining area features a 5m long reclaimed dragalina table, ensuring there is enough room for up to 14 people. Perfectly situated in the shade and with a light breeze to escape the heat in summer and keep warm in winter. Outside there is also a built-in barbecue and a sink.

Inside, the house is equipped with the latest technologies making it almost “off-grid”. It generates 80% of its technology through solar panels and batteries. Any additional CO2 from the grid is automatically offset.

The house has 77 built-in smart switches. They are connected through a central system that ensures that lights are automatically turned off and on. They are designed to optimize energy use and storage and reduce the carbon footprint. For example, garden lights will turn on when the sun goes down. Bathroom lights automatically turn off when they are no longer in use.

The spacious living room has a 7 m sofa for everyone to relax comfortably, a 55-inch Samsung TV with Apple TV and ChromeCast and a small bluetooth speaker. Like the rest of the rooms, the entire living area is equipped with dimmable lights to ensure the best light at every moment of the day. The large dining table recovered from the monastery has space for 12 people and can be accessed separately from the kitchen.

The kitchen, the heart of the house, is designed to be a meeting point. It has a bar from which you can watch the sunset. The custom-made kitchen has high quality equipment such as dishwasher, coffee maker, induction cooktop, large refrigerator and double freezer drawers for easy access to ice cubes.
