Overlooking the Calle Mayor and just a few meters from the Puerta del Sol, the main room of the apartment would be its large living room: an open and very bright space thanks to its high ceilings and windows. It also has a Smart TV, Netflix and Movistar+ so that you can enjoy your stay; and in the corridor you will find a toilet that adds practicality.

Located right in the city centre, it is an ideal location for shopping, from the nearby Calle Preciados and its typical shops, to the Gran Vía, with firms such as Desigual, Zara, H&M or the official Real Madrid shop. A few metres further on we find Fuencarral Street, one of the city’s great shopping areas where there are shops such as Michael Kors, Custo Barcelona, Adolfo Domínguez or Levi’s. In the heart of Puerta del Sol you will find the Apple Store and large stores such as El Corte Inglés or FNAC.
The apartment is located in an ideal area to taste the authentic Spanish tapas, from such classic taverns as Casa Labra or Lhardy. If your taste is more gourmet you are also in luck, as very close by you will find La Terraza del Casino, a restaurant with two Michelin stars run by chef Paco Roncero, or the Dos Cielos Madrid restaurant, owned by the Torres brothers.
If you want to get to know Madrid’s nightlife, you are in luck, because many of the trendy places are in this area, from small indie or hipster clubs in the Fuencarral and Sol street areas, to terraces like The Room, Grand&Café, Tartan Room or Sky Lounge. If you prefer bigger clubs Shoko or Kapital will be perfect for you.
Located next to the Puerta del Sol, the apartment overlooks this famous square, where the New Year’s Eve bells have been ringing since 1866. Just a few minutes walk away we find the Austrias neighbourhood, with some of the most famous buildings in the city such as the Royal Palace or the Almudena Cathedral. If you want to soak up all the culture, the Prado, Reina Sofía and Thyssen Museums are only 15 minutes away by taxi or public transport.
