Chalet Orchidea is a luxurious, yet cosy private chalet situated in snow-sure Zermatt.

Nestled discreetly just 100 metres from the ski slopes and the primary lift leading to the glacier, Chalet Orchidea offers an unparalleled location. Despite its proximity to Zermatt’s town centre, it provides a serene retreat with breathtaking views of the majestic Matterhorn from its private garden.

This chalet comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests in four bedrooms, a spacious bunk bed suite, and five well-appointed bathrooms. With two distinct living and dining areas, it caters perfectly to groups seeking both seclusion and easy access to the vibrant surroundings.

Chalet Orchidea exudes a classic Swiss chalet charm, complete with essential post-ski amenities such as an impressive outdoor terrace, recently renovated to include a brand new hot tub, an outdoor gondola sauna, and a massage room. Additionally, Wi-Fi, satellite and cable TV channels, Apple TV, and a Sonos music system are available.

The four main bedrooms feature south-facing balconies, providing spectacular Matterhorn vistas. The five luxurious marble bathrooms, four of which are en-suite, offer the comfort of underfloor heating.

The chalet boasts two generously-sized living and dining spaces, each with a cozy fireplace. Additionally, a small study and a well-stocked library of books, DVDs, and games cater to guests of all ages.

With an attentive and professional manager, concierge, and dedicated housekeeping team, Chalet Orchidea combines supreme comfort and privacy with the highest level of service.

Guests can choose from three service levels: self-catered, bed and breakfast, or fully catered. The current pricing reflects the fully catered option; feel free to enquire about rates for the self-catered or bed and breakfast alternatives.

Adjacent to Chalet Orchidea is Chalet Luminara, each offering its own privacy and independence. Renting both chalets simultaneously can comfortably accommodate a group of up to 16 guests.

Second Floor – Spacious room with twin beds (or super kingsize), wardrobe, marble en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating.

Bedroom 3 (Family Suite)
First Floor – Spacious room with super king size bed, TV, access to south facing balcony with views of the majestic Matterhorn. Adjoining to the bunk room with an additional 2 single bunk beds. Sharing a marble en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and underfloor heating.

Bedroom 4
First Floor – Spacious room with twin beds (or super king size bed), marble en-suite bathroom with underfloor heating, access to south facing balcony with views of the majestic Matterhorn.
